Video Techniques I Would Include In My Video.

I'm going to use the black and white effect on my video to create a dark old vibe to the video and it would make a change to my normal effect that I plan to use. It would also fit into the genre conventions of my video to create a vintage vibe.

I like the use of style reference in the video as The song fancy is a textual reference to the movie clueless and I would use this idea if I had the time and money to do so.

I like the mise-en-scene for this vinatge as it has a vibe that fits with the genre conventions of indie folk music as I like the whole worn out vintage effect.

Although I wouldn't per say use this in my video as it doesn't fit with my song, but I like the black and white effect and the use of the costume, props and set that the music video is filmed on and with. As you can identify that the suits are white and I like the use of the instruments as it links to another area of narrative. 

I really like this music video in how its filmed as the use of the darkness is an element i will portray in my video as it shows how she feels and that can be element of my main actress depressions.


I like this shot as its a medium close up shot of the singers face used to show asif she's holding the camera herself. I like the use of the doubled mirrored effect with the long shots to show the girl, I may use this editing technique in my video, to convey her emotions.

However I don't plan to have back up dancers in my video or any real performance in my video I do like the idea of back up dancers and it matches the conventions of the genre pop.

I like this shot because of the use of the black and blue mix match colours, they blend well and its both a light and dark video which I may use in my techniques 

Again with the tinge of black and blue I would use this I also like the use of depth of field with the long shot and how it focus on the guys back and lessens the focus on the band.

I like the use of the mise-eb-scene of this shot with the use of the country side is which an element I like because of the location and how it would link well with the genre of the music video which is indie folk.

The use of the close up shot the four of the band members if a very strong establisment shot of the band which shows them to be strong.
