Edit And Timings

Come on skinny love just last the year, {00:15-00:19}
Pour a little salt we were never here,{00:22-00:26}
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my..{00:27-00:33}
Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer.{00:34-00:38}

Tell my love to wreck it all, {00:42-00:45}
Cut out all the ropes and let me fall, {00:47-00:51}
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my... {00:52-00:56}
Right in the moment this order's tall. {00:58-01:02}

And I told you to be patient, {01:04-01:06}
And I told you to be fine, {01:07-01:08}
And I told you to be balanced,{01:09- 01:12}
And I told you to be kind, {01:13-01:14}
And in the morning I'll be with you, {01:15-01:17}
But it will be a different kind, {01:18-01:21}
'Cause I'll be holding all the tickets, {01:21-01:24}
And you'll be owning all the fines.{01:24-01:26}

Come on skinny love, what happened here? {01:32-01:35}
Suckle on the hope in light brassieres,{01:37-01:41}
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my... {01:42-01:46}
Sullen load is full, so slow on the split. {01:48-01:53}

And I told you to be patient, {01:55-01:57}
And I told you to be fine,{01:58-01:59}
And I told you to be balanced, {02:00-02:02}
And I told you to be kind, {02:03- 02:05}
And now all your love is wasted, {02:06-02:08}
Then who the hell was I? {02:09-02:10}
'Cause now I'm breaking at the britches, {02:11-02:14}
And at the end of all your lines. {02:15- 02:17}

Who will love you? {02:24:02:26}
Who will fight? {02:27-02:28}
And who will fall {02:30-02:33}

 far behind? {02:34-02:35}

Come on skinny love, {02:42-02:45}
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my...{02:52-02:56}
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my. {02:58-03:03} *

Skinny Love- Birdy Lyrics

                    Come on skinny love just last the year,
Pour a little salt we were never here,
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my...
Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer.

Tell my love to wreck it all,
Cut out all the ropes and let me fall,
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my...
Right in the moment this order's tall.

And I told you to be patient,
And I told you to be fine,
And I told you to be balanced,
And I told you to be kind,
And in the morning I'll be with you,
But it will be a different kind,
'Cause I'll be holding all the tickets,
And you'll be owning all the fines.

Come on skinny love, what happened here?
Suckle on the hope in light brassieres,
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my...
Sullen load is full, so slow on the split.

And I told you to be patient,
And I told you to be fine,
And I told you to be balanced,
And I told you to be kind,
And now all your love is wasted,
Then who the hell was I?
'Cause now I'm breaking at the britches,
And at the end of all your lines.

Who will love you?
Who will fight?
And who will fall far behind?

Come on skinny love,
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my...
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my.

Early Research Methods

1.What do I think makes a good music video?
I think a good music contains a good narrative because it shows the different interpretations of a song and how perhaps the artist or the director sees the song. I also think that an abstract video is a nice technique to use so you can focus on the song itself. Various locations although being filmed often in one room can work.

2.What main conventions form a music video?
I think some main conventions of a music video itself is the music to go along with the video and a narrative. However, there is some abstract videos. Other conventions such as editing, eye-line match,performance elements, lip syncing and location changes.
